Jada Pinkett Smith’s Avatar

I’ve followed this amazing tutorial (Na’vi Avatar Photo Manipulation Tutorial), and created an Avatar out of Jada. I think it looks pretty good for my first Avatar creation!

The Game!

Effat held a basketball game between the Effat team and the American University of Cairo team. AUC won the game with a very high score! Those girls were so tall and in such great shape.
My friends and I were asked to cover the event, and here are some of the pictures I took that day.

One of the best things I love about London is the buildings, they all look so Victorian and wonderful. It makes you think of all the great history England has had in its buildings.

People I Saw

The shy noodle man was really interesting to me. We went into this noodle restaurant and I asked him if it was OK for me to take a picture, but even though he said it was fine, he was so shy and he kept blushing like no one ever took a photo of him!

I was surprised to see so many people sleeping in the Hyde Park, but I couldn’t resist taking a photo.

I also stumbled upon the King of Pop, Michael Jackson! Well, his figure anyways!

My father convinced me us to go visit the university just in case I ever ended up there! Here’s a couple of photos.

The Beloved Sophie/ Whoopi

My cat Milo got married and had a baby daughter, I wanted to call her Whoopi, but my family called her Sophie! We all fell in love with her, she was so adorable and incredibly cute. Unfortunately, she past away only 1 month after she was born.
At least I have these pictures to look at whenever I feel like I miss her!

Homeless Kittens

We had another weird Russian cat called “Tina”, she ran away from us, came back when she was pregnant, had 2 baby kittens, and then left them and ran away again! She was probably the craziest cat we ever had!
So my mother kept these two pretty kittens and then gave them away for adoption. She said the house is already too crowded with Milo!

About The Event

This was the first ever International Day at Effat University. What they did was organize students and faculty into different booths according to their nationalities. There were so many booths, so many colors, and so much food!

My Cat Milo

Milo is so much more than a cat! In fact, he’s a cat, a dog, a cow, a goat, and a human of course! He eats everything he can get his paws on, and when he’s not eating, he’s thinking about food. He gets all crazy and weird sometimes which is what makes him a little more adorable. Also, when we yell at him and he gets mad, he comes and sits right next to us, giving us his back as a sign of his revenge!

A mosque is a place of prayer in the Islamic community. And just like churches, we have them pretty much everywhere, especially in schools and colleges.

A Couple of Hotels

A photo of the Atlantis Hotel in the palms, Dubai. We didn’t stay there at the time, but we went to visit. The lobby was pretty amazing, and so was everything else!

This photo was taken inside the Burj Al Arab hotel, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world today. It was very humid and hot that day, so I couldn’t help but take a picture of this shack I found lost in the sea.

Dubai Mall Aquarium & Zoo

We went to Dubai Mall a couple of times, and found out they had an aquarium, so we got some tickets and went in to check it out. It turns out our ticket included a pass for the zoo that was right above the aquarium.
