I was in the mood of being “educated” today, and I decided to Google some stuff. And I found a lot of funny and interesting facts.
Here are the best ones collected from many websites:

  • Cockroaches can live for 9 days after their head has been cut off.
  • The trucking company Elvis Presley worked at as a young man was owned by Frank Sinatra.
  • The human brain is 80% water.
  • Men are 6 times more likely to be struck by lightning than women.
  • A goldfish has a memory span of about 3 seconds.
  • A violin contains about 70 separate pieces of wood.
  • The man who played the voice of bugs bunny was allergic to carrots.
  • Every time you lick a stamp you gain 1/10 of a calorie.
  • Ants never sleep.
  • A new baby usually deprives it’s parents of 400-750 hours of sleep in the first year.

    next fact; have you ever had that time when your internet knocks out for like 3 seconds? that’s when the satelite is directly inline with your house.

    I’ve heard of a few of those facts before, but most of them were very new and interesting! This one especially: “A new baby usually deprives it’s parents of 400-750 hours of sleep in the first year.” Whoa. I must say, I do believe it! ( I have kids of my own, lol )

    It’s even cold in the house.. with the heating on, that’s how bad the weather is here. The snow disappeared for a day or so, and now it’s back. I’m not a huge fan of snow.. I’m like an old biddie, I’d rather stay tucked in bed all snug. =)

    luckily, the U.S. has self-adhesive stamps, so no licking required. And I’ll be sure to by self-adhesive envelopes as well…

    I already knew about the msdonald’s. I saw a documentary on the Travel channel once about all these other really cool mcdonald’s in the world. If I can find the link, I’ll be sure to share!

    I think some brains, like that of Paris Hilton, are a little more than 80% water…

    I am fascinated by the typerwriter fact!

    I also knew about the yelling, as well as about the polar bears.

    Um, I would rather itch uncontrollably for the rest of my life than rub my dog’s doodee on me o_O

    Sony sucks at life, seriously. I’m not very happy lately, thanks to my beautiful, expensive digital camera just spontaneously stopped working one day (and it’s only 2 years old).

    and I couldn’t stop laughing at the toilet one, hahaha! My mom actually broke a toilet in our house last week (she went to sit, but missed, and ended up falling and hitting her head on the bowl, cracking it, so water was leaking everywhere… she’s fine, but it was soooooooooo funny!!!)
